PAN and Aadhar linking date have been extended further.
For most Financial transactions, linking PAN numbers with Aadhar is important. There are chances, fine may be imposed for non-linking and Financial transactions may not take place as per the planning.
The government of India has extended the last date for mandatory linking of Aadhaar and PAN by three months till September 30. Earlier this year, the deadline was extended from March 31 to June 30.
“Last date of linkage of Aadhaar with PAN, which was earlier extended to June 30, 2021 is further extended to September 30, 2021,” the finance ministry said in a press release.
